We Them Us is a project commissioned by dancer and researcher Dr. Sander Vloebergs and inspired by the fourth vision of the poet and mystic Hadewych, where the self is in constant limbo with other. It is a constant searching, losing oneself, ascend, grow and be multiple. Characterized by the constant power of pulling and pushing, resulting in an interspace taking shape in the openness. This reflects in the textile technique of knitting, used for the outfits and which led to the dance movements where two bodies intertwine. The textile covering the skin deploys in space, as a second skin of the architecture creating an interspace where bodies search for one another. Where other becomes an acknowledging of the self, a constant becoming.
